This is the royalty-free image database browsing application for image catalogs created with Canto's Cumulus Network Image Database, the award winning client/server image database that can help you to organize and intelligently manage your valuable digital image assets, e.g. your scans.
Cumulus Network Image Database sets the standard for professional image administration and offers multi-level boolean search, similarity search, drag and drop, automatic thumbnail searching and hierarchical keywords. Adapters to integrate Cumulus with Photoshop, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, Illustrator and FrameMaker are included.
Cumulus is OPI-ready, and fully supports AppleScript. It is great for automated catalog production, database publishing, prepress workflow, and Internet authoring. Supported file formats include: TIFF, PICT, JPEG, GIF, EPS, PhotoCD, QD3D, Photoshop, QuickTime, AIFF, PageMaker, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, FrameMaker, and many more.
Cumulus Image Database Browser offers all the functionality of Canto's Cumulus Network Image Database except that it can only open two database files at the same time, and that it cannot add records if the database already contains 50 records or more. The purpose of the Cumulus Image Database Browser is to allow Cumulus Network Image Database users to distribute their image catalogs together with a royalty free viewing application.
The Cumulus Network Image Database retail package offers additional software not included in the Cumulus Browser:
Vento
